Company History
Apr. 1955 Hiroshi Sato founded Daiichi Denki Shokai in Tokyo.
Nov. 1955 Daiichi Denki Shokai was reorganized as Daiichi Denki Co., Ltd., and has continued to this day engage in the design, manufacture, and sale of electronic measuring devices and electronic control instruments.
At the time of its founding, we began developing data recording instruments which were successfully commercialized for the first time in Japan and used for various purposes. For example, this instrument was installed on an experimental train for ultra-high-speed of the Tokaido Shinkansen. We also completed Japan’s only magnetic drum-type accident monitoring device (drum coder).
These products have earned widespread acclaim as indispensable components in a variety of fields, including space development, earthquake/volcanic eruption/weather observation, industrial and academic research, electrical equipment, railways, rolling stock, power generation, and nuclear power plants, just to name a few.
1985 We combined these technologies to begin improving electro-hydraulic control equipment.
1994 After 10 years of research and development, the hybrid actuator was unveiled at the 1994 Technical Show Yokohama.
Since then, it has been used as a next-generation servo control system in products such as hydraulic presses, construction machinery, marine steering systems, marine fin stabilizers, vehicle suspensions, material testing machines, vibration testing machines, water gates, brake systems, forging presses, winches, cranes, rotary printing presses, hot and cold rolling mills, pipe benders, and press brakes and so on.
