◆ 6、Press Brake

The picture on the left shows a press brake with 8 pieces of hydraulic cylinders to distribute the load evenly onto the light weight slide. All cylinders are synchronized within a 0.01 mm of error margin. A conventional wisdom tells us that rigid and stiff structure is required for precision presses but this unit employs a light weight and flexible frame for cost saving and weight reduction.

The thrust of each cylinder is 10 tons and the total thrust is 80 tons by 8 cylinders.  The effective width of the press is 2100mm.  The weight of the press is about one tenth of the conventional presses and the energy consumption is about one-twentieth.
